Week 10 Homework- due March 24th

Week 10: Due Friday, March 24th  (1st homework of 4th  9 weeks)

Draw a room in your home.  Focus on how the room looks from where you are sitting, pay attention to the proportions of the objects in the room and the shape of the room itself.  Try your best to get the perspective (how the room looks and goes back into space) as realistic as possible.  We will be moving onto perspective next, so this will be your "before" drawing for this unit.  You'll be amazed at how much more realistic your drawings will become!

Week 8 Homework: Due Fri, March 10th

Week 8: Due Friday, March 10th
Using your knowledge about negative space, find an image and turn it into a design for a pumpkin.  Make sure to include 3 shades (white= cut out, grey-scraped into the pumpkin, and black=actual pumpkin).  This is an activity which combines negative space (the pumpkin) and shading (carving and scraping).  You must remember that dark objects must connect to the edge (or they would fall out if you were really carving).
**simple designs will not receive full credit, they should be as detailed as the examples below**
