Technique– Skillful use of continuous contour line.  Line is unbroken to show detail.




Observational Skills – Accurate representation of an area of the classroom.  Student took time to observe and document all details in their chosen area.




Productivity – Efficient use of class time, project shows your best effort.  Focused and worked quietly.




Composition – Image fills the page.  Careful attention to detail.  Chose an interesting area of the room.

Craftsmanship – Image is neat and well presented.  Lines drawn with intent and patience.  Drawing accurately describes objects’ form. 




Technique– Use of contour line with tone to show volume of objects.  Line defines object through exterior and interior lines.  Effective use of tone, form is suggested through light and dark.  All 4 media were used effectively.




Observational Skills – Evidence of close observation, documented various views of objects.  Accurate representation of objects is shown.




Productivity – Efficient use of class time, project shows your best effort.  Focused and worked quietly.




Composition – Image fills the page.  Careful attention to detail.  At least 4 objects were drawn at least 3 times each and arranged in an interesting manner.  Objects overlap and may extend off the page.  Color choice for media is non-distracting and works well together
