Observational Drawing: Scratch Art
1. Choose a subject for your Scratch Art drawing.
· Must have a wide range of value
· Do NOT choose a simple image, the more details, the better the project
· Subjects with texture work well for this project
2. Copy and paste picture into a PowerPoint document
· If it won’t copy and paste, save the image to the desktop and insert it that way
3. Double click image and use the top menu bar to adjust the color to greyscale
4. Ask yourself:
· Does my image have a FULL range of value?
· Does my image have enough detail?
