Introduction to Foreshortening
Project #1: Action Photos
Observational Drawing students learned about foreshortening and how it is used to draw figures or objects in unusual positions realistically and proportionally. Students used the grid method to enlarge a photograph. They then used colored pencils to draw the figure in warm and cool colors to separate the foreground, middle ground, and background.
