2.6.17: Value Viewpoints Project

To begin our first value project, students will choose an object and draw it from 12 different angles in their sketchpads.  These sketches do not need to be shaded or very detailed.  Students will choose the best 9 sketches to use for their final project.

Next, students will create a 9"x 9" box in their sketchpads.  Students will then break that box into 9 even square (3"x 3").

Students will draw one object from 9 different angles and viewpoints.  Be creative with the viewpoints you use for your project.  The viewer should understand what the object would look like from all sides.  You also may play around with how closely you draw the object.
